It has been quite a week this week. Monday the new City Administrator started. Tuesday we had the final review of the Big Well Exhibits. It's amazing to see more than 3 years of work finally coming together. The exhibits are going to be moving and wonderful. I've been working on picking out the fixtures for the gift shop and shelving for the storage room. We set the grand opening date for May 26, it will be here before we know it.
This week was also art classes at the the school for K-8th students. It was fun and exhausting! I did 3 classes on tuesday afternoon and 6 classes on Wednesday. I told the Kindergarten teacher that I don't know how she does it all day everyday. We did monoprinting, it went very well and the kids really enjoyed it. I tried to give them some art history and told them about other types of printmaking with examples.
Today was a WWC meeting all day in Garden City. New Boston presented the findings and suggestions from their marking research for the SW KS region.
Because of everything going on this week, I don't feel like I've been on top of getting other things done for work. There will always be a to do list I guess.
Tomorrow morning I take Tru to the doctor for his 1 year check up. That's right, 1 year check up. I can't believe it. He's such a sweet little boy, not a baby anymore :( Tomorrow night I will be making cupcakes for the big 1st birthday bash at Ashley's house for him, Saige and Sloan.
I've been staying up too late every night working on a new project...more on that to come.
