Homecomings

Yesterday evening we went to Dodge to go out to eat and do some shopping. On the way, Travis wanted to go by where he grew up south of Mullinville. They have been clearing off the property and there isn't much there anymore. Travis was pretty upset about it (and wouldn't like that I'm writing this.) I know it bothered Pat too.

At first I was not the most sensitive to his feelings, but then I remembered what it felt like to come to home to this.
