A Nice Little Saturday

We started off the day playing with play dough, I made some apple cinnamon muffins. I got the kids dressed and we went to the library, stopped by the bank to visit Travis, and grocery shopping. After lunch we go the kids down for naps, and I went outside planted the 6 mums that mom picked up this week. KState played football at 2:30 and the kids slept for over 3 hours. The Lighthouse Worship Center church had an appreciation dinner for the emergency workers at 6pm. It was nice and a good meal. They had bibles for each of them that are leather with their names and radio numbers on them.

After we got the kids to bed, I brought up the boxes of tomatoes from the basement. They have ripened nicely and I chopped up half of them to freeze. I ran out of containers so I'll do the rest tomorrow. Last night was the first really hard freeze and I wish I'd gone over a couple of days ago to pick tomatoes. Oh well, there will be another summer!
