Whew

I had started writing this post Friday night, but lost it when our power went out. It has been a busy week but a good weekend. This week we hosted a conference in town that I helped organize, had the unveiling of the Fleener-Beck Memorial Friday morning, and we had a booth at the Taste of the Wild West event in Dodge Friday evening. Friday was a long day, around 13 hours, but a good one. I am so glad to see the Fleener memorial in place and glad that John Fleener is pleased. I have enjoyed getting to know him better over the last few months working on this project.

Saturday was the Twilight Theatre fundraising auction. I went out with the kids and Pat brought them home around noon for naps. I bought a little white sewing desk. Today we went to church, and home for lunch and naps. It was good to have some downtime and relax. I held Amelia in the chair while she slept, I snoozed a little and watched volleyball on the olympics. After they both woke up, we went over to mom and dad's. Ashley and Tanner's families were there. We picked more of the table grapes, had pizza, and Clair and Wilda Banta came over and gave all of us rides in the Model T. It was fun! I didn't get any pictures of us in the Model T, I hope Ashley or Jill got some good ones. ;)
