2022

Started off the 1st of the year making bowls for the arts center Soup in Your Bowl fundraiser.

Travis surprised me for an early 40th birthday party with Daves's Pizza and friends.

Big winners for birthday bingo night.

Birthday present from Alana.

Truman started not feeling well and ended up having COVID. Then mom, then Amelia, then Dad. The 4 of us got to enjoy about 5 days at home together with pretty mild symptoms.

Travis and I missed going to the Rural Leaders Retreat at Valley Falls because of COVID, so Grant and Julie gave me my own retreat in Kiowa County.

For Amelia's birthday, she wanted everyone to go to a Wichita Thunder hockey game. We got the birthday party package and got to go on the ice after the game.

Pop a shot winners.

For Truman's birthday he invited his boys cousins and Garrett to Dodge to eat Freddy's and go to a Southwest Storm arena football game. They had a blast.

While we were in Dodge, Amelia was at the Petty ranch.

For our year of 40, Alana, Ashley and I took a trip to Clearwater, FL for 3 days of laying in the sun, eating, having drinks, getting sunburned, and riding a pirate ship.

While the moms were gone, the kids had fun too.

The kids had a welcome home sign for us when we got back.

Family spring break Tanginyka trip.

BKRT Pre-trip to southeast KS.

I got to go with Truman's class on their field trip to the Cosmosphere.

Amelia and Travis left the night before for Pittsburg for BKRT, The had a harrowing experience traveling in the dark, and in a downpour. Truman and I met up with them Friday night after his class trip.

Radishes and Duck Salt.

After 3 years, I graduated from WSU with a Masters in Public Administration.

It was so awesome to have all of our family there.

The El Paso family (Voge's) came to visit for Memorial weekend.

Continuing the year of 40, Ashley and Jill wanted to hike a 14'er in Colorado. I also went and gave it a good college try.

This year for family vacation we flew to Destin, FL. It was the kids first time to fly and to go to the ocean.
