First Day of Preschool

Yesterday was the first day of preschool for the year. This is the 2nd year for Amelia and the 1st for Truman. He goes in the morning and she goes in the afternoon. I think they both had a great day. Truman said his favorite part of the day was playing with Thayer and Lochlan and snack time. Amelia said her favorite part was snack time. I thought Truman might have a hard time letting me go when I dropped him off, but that was not the case at all. He barely said bye to me. As soon as he saw Thayer and Lochlan he went right over to play. It took Amelia a little longer to warm up, but she was fine. She didn't want to play with the other kids, but sat and colored by herself. I sat with her for a bit then left.

The first picture is the beginning of a project I hope to complete for both of the kids for each year of school. I plan to take their picture with the picture from the previous year. So it will be a picture inside a picture inside a picture, etc...  We'll see if I keep it up year to year :)
