Three Weeks Later...

After three weeks of not posting, I am finally catching up. First was another art class at school. This time we did drawings of pumpkins using different patterns.

Next I was gone for 6 days for work. First through Newton  to pick up our new visitors guides. Then on to Lawrence to work the Mother Earth News Fair promoting Greensburg.

After the Mother Earth News Fair over the weekend, I headed to Topeka to spend Monday-Thursday at the annual Kansas Tourism Conference.

The opening speaker was at the statehouse and we got a tour afterwards. I've been to the capitol several times but never have had a guided tour. They are nearly finished with the long renovation project and every time I see the building I am struck by how amazing it is.

We won an award for a 30 second commercial that Grant did for Greensburg.

Friday and Saturday the kids and I went down to Ashley's house to stay the night and play with the cousins. The first thing Truman did when we got there was go get the football gear and put it on.
Saturday night Katie had a Halloween party at her house. Swedish Chef vs. Inspector Clouseau
