Paying in Forward in Oklahoma

Last Saturday, a group of us went to Oklahoma to help in the OKC area after the tornadoes and flooding they've had recently. We worked with Samaritan's Purse and helped a local farmer/rancher to clean up after some flooding. We cleared branches and flood debris and rebuilt his fence.

Around noon a storm rolled in, so we took a lunch break. It was a nice break in the rain.

At the end of each volunteer job, Samaritan's purse gives a Bible to who was being helped.

After we finished working, we went into Moore to see some of the tornado damage. We drove around a bit. It was eerie, heartbreaking, quiet.
