Grandma Pat got all of the kids animal hats and water bottles.
Jett was telling a story with his piece of corn. I think it was something about the process of what we were doing, it was pretty cute and funny.
Friday we went to the fair for the last night of the fair. It was watermelon feed night, the kids loved it and were a sticky mess. We made one last trip through the barn to see the animals. If you ask Amelia now what animals she saw, elephants are included in her list. She knows she didn't see any at the fair, but she wants to make sure you know. She's a stinker.
Garrett taking Amelia for a "ride."
Saturday morning on the couch with their blankies and milks. They are both really into their milk, blankies and the Fresh Beat Band. Amelia has to have her white blanket with the flowers and her pink bear, Truman has 4 blankets in his crib right now, but he wants the fleecy blue one and the knitted green one to carry around.
Truman is saying more words all the time, at least I know what he's saying. Tonight I laid him in bed (with his 4 blankies) and he said night night mommy, bye bye. So sweet.
Amelia has been staying up in her room playing and reading books long after we put her to bed. It was a least 10 tonight when she was still up. She came out of her room 3 times to tell me her music was over and I needed to restart it. She had the light on and told me she was reading books.
